Instrumental students and practicing over Winter Break

We are heading into Winter Break, and just like you will be staying on top of your reading, it’s important to practice the songs for our upcoming Winter Instrumental Concert on Wednesday January 20, 2016 at 7:00pm. “What should I be practicing Mr. Pendergrass?” You may ask- Go to the top of the page, put your mouse over the INSTRUMENTAL tab, see your instrument, click on the link, and you will find detailed information on what you should be practicing. Thanks!

Choir Concert Wednesday Dec. 9

Dear Choir Parents

Before Thanksgiving break, your child received a practice CD to take home with music for our upcoming Winter Concert- Wednesday December 9th at 7:00pm in the lunchroom at Fairmount Park.

There are several tracks on the CD and students should listen to and memorize the words. You can find words and links to the songs at the top of the choir page at the following link: CHOIR WORDS AND RECORDINGS.

Most of our rehearsals have been focused on pitch and rhythm reading so we can be independent singers. This CD will help your child feel confident to sing all the songs from memory on stage!

Students need to arrive by 6:30pm the night of the concert and meet in the music room.

Students should wear the following for the concert:

GIRLS- a dress or blouse with a skirt is preferred; nice slacks/pants with top is ok.

BOYS- a shirt with a collar (polo type shirt is ok).
In addition to our Wednesday evening concert, we will perform the same program again at our Friday Assembly December 11th at 8:55am for Fairmount Park students and teachers.
